Technical・Crown
Qualifications
<1> No age limit. 
<2> The applicant must be registered as a member of SAJ for the year in which he/she takes the examination (including provisional members).  
<3> The applicant must have completed 2 pre-test trainings (4 hours) in the year of taking the test.  
<4> The prior training mentioned above is valid only for the year in which the test is taken. 
<5> Those who wish to take the Crown Prize test must have passed the Technical Prize test.  
<6> Those who wish to take the Technical Prize test must have passed the Level 1 test.
Test Content
 Practical skills 
○ Parallel turn, large turn (at approximately steep slope/natural)  
○ Parallel turn, small turn (at approximately steep slope/natural)  
○ Parallel turn, small turn (at approximately medium steep slope/uneven terrain) 
○ Total downhill (at approximately general slope/natural)
Ability to ski in response to conditions
1.Formation of the turn movement: positioning and edging
2.Handling of slope conditions: adjustment of speed and rotation arc
3.Quality of the movement: balance, rhythm and timing 
The examiner will judge your performance.
Scoring criteria
The test will be evaluated by 3 examiners, and the average score given by the 3 examiners will be used as the points earned for the test. Points will be rounded to the first decimal place.
Pass/Fail
 Crown Prize 
100 points shall be awarded per skill. A total of 320 points or more for the 4 skills is considered a passing score. 
Technical Prize
100 points shall be awarded per skill. A total of 300 points or more for the 4 events is considered a passing score.
